Yes, WagePad is completely free. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions, or premium tiers. All calculators are available to everyone.

No. All calculations happen directly in your browser. WagePad never collects, stores, or transmits your salary, income, or loan details to any server.

Our salary calculator uses official ATO PAYG tax tables for each financial year, including the Stage 3 tax cuts. It covers income tax, Medicare Levy, Medicare Levy Surcharge, LITO, HECS/HELP repayments, and superannuation. Results are estimates — always verify with a registered tax agent.

Currently, WagePad supports Australia (salary and loan calculators). Support for the United States and New Zealand is planned and will be added in future updates.

The loan calculator uses standard amortisation formulas to compute periodic repayments based on your principal, interest rate, loan term, and payment frequency. You can also model extra repayments to see how much interest and time you could save.

The MLS is an additional levy of 1–1.5% on taxable income for Australian residents who earn above $97,000 (singles) and do not hold private hospital cover. Our calculator automatically applies this if you indicate you don't have private health insurance.

WagePad is designed for personal, indicative use only. It should not be used as a payroll system or for formal tax return preparation. For business use, please consult a registered tax agent or use certified payroll software.
